My story & mission

Hi, I’m Maxime, founder of Lead with Elegance, and I believe that true leadership starts with joy, boldness and the courage to show up fully and unapologetically!
Not by taking yourself too seriously, but by choosing freedom, authenticity, flair and connection.
Because leadership can sparkle. And so can life. ✨
My journey started in the world of entertainment and events. With a degree in International Event, Music & Entertainment Studies and a theatre minor at UCSD in California, I fully immersed myself in the world of experience, expression, presence and performance.
What followed?
Over 200 red carpet events and collaborations with some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry — including Universal Pictures, The Walt Disney Company, Warner Bros., Stage Entertainment and National Geographic.
For years, I worked both behind the scenes and in front of the spotlight, producing, presenting and performing. Everything revolved around visibility, impact and creating moments of magic.
But in the stillness of the 2020 lockdown, I realized:
I no longer wanted to create the stage for others. I was ready to create my own!
So I left my job as an event manager, and decided to build something of my own. Something that would bring together all of my passions: speaking, empowerment, events, performance, coaching and inspiration.
That’s how Lead with Elegance was born.
A movement, a business and a mission to help others lead with presence, confidence and unapologetic authenticity!

What I stand for.
Everything you need, is already present within you.
I love working with people and organizations who have a vision. Who feel: there’s more in me (or in us), but it could all be a little more free, more powerful, more aligned.
So often, what stands in the way is not skill, but limiting beliefs, deeply rooted modesty, or hidden insecurity.
Especially here in the Netherlands, we’re so used to the “just be average and normal” mentality. But all that really does is keep us small. Unnecessarily small!
That’s where I come in.
Not to force anything, but to remind you of the gold that’s already inside.
Your unique talents, your energy, your presence: that’s what we want more of! Because real impact doesn’t come from trying harder. It comes from showing more of who you really are, and what you stand for.
My style in three words?
Authentic. Sparkling. Eye-opening.
I combine depth with play.
Glamour with substance.
Vulnerability with power.
You won’t get a polished performance.
You’ll get an experience. A spark. And then… that internal shift.
Life isn’t an audition. It’s your show. Time to take the stage.
I live in Loosdrecht, am a proud mom to the most wonderful daughter, addicted to glitter outfits and deep conversations, love traveling the world… and fully believe that with a little courage and a lot of flair, the world is yours. ✨
